!@#$%...........

As some of you may know, I've been having some seriously ill uploading issues and due to my "dodgy" wireless connection. Regardless of whatever host I use (Rapidshare, Megaupload, Zshare, etc), my upload fails and I usually get a connection timed out screen. I use Firefox (and so should you), but for shits and giggles I tried uploading files with IE and they failed as well. Probably tomorrow or the next day I'm going to go to a "secure" location and attempt to upload from there. Hmmmmm. This all feels very James Bond.

On a positive note, I was able to track down a the elusive "It's Christmas" song by The Skyywalker All-Stars from the Bass Waves Compilation and rest assured, I will get that up for y'all shortly.

Since I don't having anything or any substance to really contribute at this moment, here are some links that you should definitely check out:

ALL MUSIC, ALL BLOGS: this is literally a one-stop-shop/gateway to a bazillion and one other music blogs. You can seriously get lost within the links here for days...

WEST COAST PIONEERS: do you still get a boner when you hear Egypt, Egypt? Do you know about Macola, Electrobeat, Kru-Cut, or the Techno-Hop record labels? Do you love those 808 driven West Coast jams from the mid-eighties? I know I do....

BITS & PIECES: this site (along with Perez Hilton) have become my daily dose of media crack. B&P is great because the guy actually scours the net for the funniest bits & pieces and condenses it into a nice and tidy readable blog. I can honestly say that it's one of my favorite websites of all time!

HARDCORE/GABBA/BREAKCORE/RAVE: as many of you know I'm always going through my wacky music phases and right about now, I'm livng off Digital Hardcore, breakcore, chiptune, gabber, IDM, and lots of other shit that makes my ears bleed with pleasure. If you wondering about some of my past phases: last month it was Italo and laser disco, the month before that was Florida-Electro, and a few months back I didn't listen to anything but Brian Eno and Ministry (talk about 2 extremes). So yeah....

KRAFTWERK'S STUDIO EQUIPMENT: if you're a synth-whore and you just LOVE looking at analog gear, and if you're a fan of Kraftwerk, then I highly suggest you check out this site. Nuff said on that....

Lastly, I found a link to this blog on (of all places) Craigslist in the rant & rave section a few weeks ago and I gotta say, whereas it's DEFINITELY not for everyone, it's a pretty cool (if not disturbing read). The blog's tagline says it all: watching the crazy parade go by. If you got a minute or ten, then you absolutely must check out THE WEEKLY VICE.

Well that should keep ya busy until I get to my so-called "secure location" and upload some goodies. I hope everyone's having a great week so far and I'll catch ya on the flip....
